I would watch out for any sort of "authentic" ancient buddha statues. It's a favorite trick to bury them in the yard for 5 years then pull them out and tell tourists that its a 300-1200 year old statue. Don't buy ivory either, you will have horrible Karma and Buddha will strike you with a lightning bolt causing severe injury. You can also check out a site called Questiki, they have some stuff about it I think. http://www.questiki.com
