Open Question: What is the cheapest way to get to Banthai Beach Resort on Patong Beach from Phuket International Airport?
I'm travelling to Phuket next month (June) and will stay in Banthai Beach Resort for the first few nights. I've booked the accommodation through asiarooms.com therefore airport transfer is not included in the reservation. I've emailed the hotel directly. They can arrange a hotel taxi service which will cost Baht700 per trip. Does Baht 700 sound reasonable from the airport to Patong beach? I'm wondering if it'll be cheaper just to catch a local tuk tuk from the airport. Or what would be the best/cheapest way to get to the resort or just somewhere near it? Any info is very highly appreciated. Thanks!
