Wifi internet is available but too expensive at the new Suvarnabhuni Bangkok airport.

Visitors will be charged 500 baht an hour for Internet access with a minimum charge of 100 baht with ToT (Thailand public phone company) proud of its new communications system that will have a return on investment in three years.

How can officials be so stupid when many international airports worldwide provide free WiFi Internet access and places like Singapore even provide free PCs to use?

Some airports in Thailand, as HatYai or Khon Kaen airports, offers free Internet access, and most Internet shops at other places charge a small fee for internet use.

Knowing that somebody who takes a plane for an international flight in this airport already has to pay 500 baht fee (soon increased to 700 baht), everybody agree that internet should be provided for free to people who bring their own laptop.

Starbucks Coffee Wifi is also available at Suvarnabhumi airport but you need to buy a service plan at  https://shop.ksc.net/ or apply for KSC Hotspot Monthly Subscription but this can't be done online.

1 Hour of internet use for 150 Baht
5 Hours of internet use for 600 Baht
20 Hours of internet use for 1500 Baht
Day Pass for 250 Baht (24 hours of unlimited usage from the first login)

Monthly Subscription to KSC hotspots nationwide costs 750 baht for 8 hours included then 1 baht per minute, 60 baht an hour.
