You can access to Suvarnabhumi airport by car, bus, train, taxi, and airport shuttle.

For Bus, Taxi, Limousine, Car renting , and Parking, you must go to Public Transportation Centre which is located at around 3 kms (10 minutes) from terminal by Express Shuttle Bus from all Levels. To get here take a shuttle bus (Express route) at 2nd or 4th floor, to the Transport Centre

Public bus and taxi services are provided from the Bus Terminal at the Transport Centre or Taxi rank outside level 2.

Airport shuttle

Airport bus express operates 4 bus routes to downtown. The cost is 150 baht for entire route.

The bus can stop anywhere, just tell the driver where you want to stop before the bus leaves the airport.

AE1 Suvarnabhumi-Silom (by expressway)
AE2 Suvarnabhumi-Bang Lamphu (by expressway), to go to Khao San Road.

AE3 Suvarnabhumi-Sukhumwit 3 or North Nana
AE4 Suvarnabhumi-Hua Lamphong (by expressway), to go to the train station.

Airport AE1 Silom bus is non stop until Petchburi Road where it leaves express way at Petchaburi soi 30, then it passes Century Park Hotel, Patunam, Ratchadamri Road, Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Lumpini Park, Silom Road, Holiday Inn Crown Plaza, Trocadero Hotel, and Stops at Silom Road (Opposite Lerdsin Hospital).

Taxi and limousine

To get a taxi take a shuttle bus (Express route) at 2nd or 4th Floor to the Transport Centre or join a Dispatcher Queue and wait at Terminal Road side level 2. etered taxi service are also available from the Bus Terminal, the fare to Sukhumvit road or Silom road is around 400 baht including 70 baht toll way to Bangkok and 100 baht airport tax.

Public taxis serving Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport must be less than 5 years old Public taxi drivers must be certified by Airports of Thailand. Passenger pick up at the taxi stand at Transport Centre or Terminal level 2 queue and forbidden at departures (level 4 - outer curb), but as previously at Don Muang airport, you can jump in a cab from there.

Flat-fare limousine services are also be available, but it costs more than taxis. To get a limousine contact the "Limousine Service Counter" at the Arrivals Hall Level 2. Limousine pick up area is at the Arrivals Level 2 (outer curb). Prices quoted are approx 2000 baht for Pattaya, 1500 baht City in Camray Car and 2500 baht in Wide body Mini Bus for 6/8 persons, plus toll way. Six types of limousines with total of 380 cars are available around the clock.

Car

The airport has 5 main access routes. Among these the most convenient route is via the Bangkok-Chon Buri Motorway (Highway No. 7). Other routes are Bang Na - Trat Highway (km 15), and Rom Klao Road.

Train (skytrain)

The airport line is under construction and should be ready for november 2007. It will join Sukhumvit and Silom BTS line at Phaya Thai station and MRT line at Phetchaburi station. It will offer airport-bound passengers a fast 15 minutes limited stops journey from the city.
